Every year my family and I go on a trip down south to an Island called Marco Island. The Island is about thirty minutes south of Naples another beach but a larger area. We have been going to Marco Island for 12 years and I just turned 13 years old. My Nana and Papa invite my family and my aunt and uncle with their two children. Every year we have a fishing tournament. We have an award for the most fish caught and the biggest fish. The tournament is more interesting because our rental house has a dock with a canal at the back. The fish I could see were snapper, sheepshead, and catfish. But I also saw some jelly fish and a starfish.
Like always we rent a pontoon boat a go out to this small island to play in the sand and fish. My brother caught a snook and I was jealous because snook is my favorite snook to catch because I have been cautions them since I was about 6 years old. A day later we went on a charter boat to go deep sea fishing. We went on Miss Louise and fished out in the Gulf of Mexico. I caught a lot of snapper and a couple small red grouper. My Dad and Papa caught bigger red grouper and one of them was a 21 inches. At the end of the trip I caught 23 fish and only got to keep about 15 of them to eat. We had fish tacos that night. A couple days later we went to a pier and my Dad caught about a 12 inch shark and was called a bonnethead. At the end of the trip I caught the most fish with 26 and my Papa caught the biggest fish which was the grouper. One of my favorite restaurants at Marco is the sandbar. They serve bunch of small food like mini tacos, mini burgers, wings, mini hotdogs, and they are all good. My brother and I found $5 from quarters in their small arcade. I hope I will have the chance to go back with my family.
Our first family trip of summer in 2016 is in Illinois. We stated in a suburb of Chicago which was Arlington Heights. We saw family from all over the state from my mom’s side. When we had a small family reunion some of the family went fishing. But we didn’t catch anything. It was nice to see everyone again.
In Arlington Heights we went to two different pools. They both had diving boards which we don’t have in Florida. One had a high dive which was scary when you looked off the edge but it was fun jumping off. But this pool had more people then the other pool. The pool closest to where we’re saying had two regular diving boards and a water slide which end 5ft above the water. The water was 12ft deep and I jumped of the diving the board and touched the ground.
We also visited a little of down town and we went to a new museum and it was the history of TV and I would say it would be go to check it out once but I wouldn’t go back until a long time. We also visited Maggie Daily Park which is a large park pin the city and I would recommend going one day.
We went to three different beaches all on Lake Michigan, which is my favorite lake. My favorite beach we went to was Gillson Beach, I liked the most because it had large swimming areas, a decent amount of people, and no rocks. The other breaches we went to were Glencoe beach and Illinois beach state park. The state had rough waves good for surfing or skim boarding but not for swimming.
I had fun seeing some family again and getting out of the house. As a family we are driving back to Florida from Illinois and collecting all the Pokemon. #TeamBlue

I went to Disney World again! But this time we got special magic bands. If you don’t know what a magic band it is a bracelet thing that goes around your wrist that allows you to open your room in your hotel room. It also lets you to have fast passes. Which that allows you to go in a line that is quicker but only if you have a fast pass you can go on.
We went to Disney because my mom had to go there for a work event for her blog. It was all about food. Over the weekend we stayed at the Grand Floridian. We had a a lot of fun things. First on Friday we sat and ate dinner at the Polynesian. I had potstickers/dumplings and sticky wings. Sticky wings are wings that were dipped in teriyaki sauce. It is delicious, I think they are the best wings.
Later that day we went back to the hotel and went to bed. Saturday, I had a football game and it was raining all day. Then we jumped in the pool. Then we picked my mom up from her work event at the Contemporary resort. Then we went back to hotel and my dad went back to the Polynesian for more sticky wings. It wasn’t that big of a day but the next day we went to a lot of parks. We went to 3/4 of them.
We went to the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. The one we did not go to was Epcot. We would’ve but it was a school night. At all of those parks we rode on Mount Everest, the Safari, Rock and Roller Coaster (2 time!), Tower of Terror, and the new Snow White Mine Train. My favorite out of all of those was Rock and Roller coaster. That is one of my favorite rides because it is a roller coaster, it blasts music in the back, and it goes upside down.
I had a great week but I know what is coming up next. I had a great time. So I can’t wait till Thursday. So to sum it all up I am a spoiled kid. 🙂
It was really fun going to Washington D.C. We did a tour around the White House on our first day. But we were only allowed in the east wing. We also saw Bo for a half a second (Barack Obama’s dog). We were all surprised and curious if we actually saw Bo. The rest of it was cool but it wasn’t the best. I learned that they put up about 20 Christmas trees in one room. After we walked to the mall and played on the fields for a while.
After playing we went to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. That was really cool. It shows you how they make money. I saw 100,000,000 dollars in $10 bills in a box. In total I saw about $100,000,000,000,000 dollars. The thing that I liked that I learned was the ways to see the tricks to see if the money was real.
Then we went on a tour of the Capitol. My favorite was seeing Bo for that day. After that day we didn’t walk as much.
We went to the spy museum and I learned what things you have to learn to be a spy. Like you code name. I liked a picture explaining that a pigeon got the Medal of Honor because it was carrying messages from base to base. Then it got hurt but still delivered a messenger then that helped us win a war. But I don’t remember which. We also went to the zoo and saw panda bears! We didn’t stay long because it was about to rain. But it was my first time seeing a panda bear. We also got to see a lion roar. We saw monkeys and elephants. The penguins were closed so we didn’t go there.
We saw the MSU football game with alumni group and we won against Purdue. We also went to the Air&Space museum. Which we saw the Discovery Space Shuttle. A lot of war planes. We even saw the space ship which the guy jumped out then landed back on earth. I saw and learned a bombing plane that dropped a nuclear bomb on Japan and only two nuclear bombs have been blown off.
The next day we went to the Arlington Cemetery. We saw the memorial for the hidden soldier. Also every hour they change their guard and we saw that. The cool thing is there is always someone out there even in storms. We saw all the other memorials to which was really cool. I like Abe the best cause you can run up the stairs and run back down and Abe is huge. After that day we went back home and did are home work that we missed over the 4 days of school we were gone. My favorite was the spy museum. The thingg I liked the most while learning was the engraving.

Before I went to Michigan I saw my great grandma and cousins. We played soccer and baseball. The oldest was a boy named Liam and he had two little sisters. And there were two babies.
This is me and a bunch of cousins in Michigan.
Gigi with all the Michigan cousins.
Then next day we went to Michigan State and we looked around stores and I bought a cool hat. And we took a picture with a statue of Sparty. He is the mascot. We also saw the football field, basketball, and hockey.
The next day we went on a picnic for my moms and dads reunion for college. All there friends were over there and I played croquet for the first time. I also had some friends there. There names were Luke,David, and Kyler. We also played kick ball. I was playing corn hole and we were playing till ten and it was 7 to 5 then I got the points to win!
After I had a sleep over. We watched a movie called Here Comes the Boom. It’s all about wrestling. Then we went to sleep. Then we woke up and started driving. We went through Ohio,Kentucky,Tennessee and slept there then we derived through,Georgia and finally Florida. I liked that vacation.
Sleeping in the car with my new Michigan State blanket.
I went to Cedar point on Wednesday and I road lots of rides.
First I had to stay at a hotel. Our hotel had a big indoor water park there. There is little of every thing. It was called Great Wolf Lodge.
In the lazy river at the Great Wolf Lodge.
The next day we went to Cedar Point. First we went straight to Millennium Force. That’s the roller coaster where you go three hundred feet up and down. I loved the drop and the picture they took of us on the ride was funny.
Waiting in line for Millennium Force.
Second we went on the Iron Dragon. We tried to go on the Corkscrew, that’s the one that goes up side down. But the weather was bad so we ate instead. We ate at Fridays where I really don’t like anything.
After, we went on Magnum that goes 200 feet up and down. I liked that one. The we went on Dragster that one is 17 seconds long. It shoots you 427 feet and it goes 120 mph. I was scared then I really liked it.
After we went on Corkscrew, but it was shorter than I thought it was going to be. After we went on some wooden roller coasters and I got a headache. Then I ate a cheese burger. Then we went on swings. Then for the next ride we went on Maverick it was awesome it goes upside down and speeds in a dark tunnel and we did at night. Then we went on the Mean streak that I did not like it was so bumpy and it felt like my seat belt was loose, other than that I liked it. My favorites were Millennium Force, Dragster and Maverick. We also went on lots of water rides. They were very fun.
It was also fun because our friends from Michigan were there. I want to go back to Cedar Point soon.
After we rode Millennium Force.
