Over winter break I went up north. First we stopped in Chicago to see family. We played in some snow piles and that’s the first time I have ever seen real snow (even though it wasn’t a lot). We met up with some family the next couple days. But then we went to Wisconsin. We stayed at the Grand Geneva Resort. In Wisconsin there was more snow than there was in Chicago.
The day after we arrived we went skiing on a hill that was close to the hotel. I have skied before and I was excited. I had lots of layers on and wasn’t cold when I was outside. When we arrived we took lessons for about 30 minutes. After I went on my first hill and it was really fun. I liked the wind blowing in my face and the speed down the hill. I wasn’t the best at the chair lift but I have gotten better over time. I rode the green trails for a while. Green trails are the easiest. But the next couple days I tried a black diamond, which is the second hardest hills. I completed the black diamond and I kept riding it until got bored. Hopefully I can go skiing again sometime because I had a great time.
