I’ve had a pretty lazy spring break, but I did go to a baseball game to see the Detroit Tigers against Atlanta Braves.
It was Tigers spring training field in Lakeland.
We went there with my family and my Nana and Papa. We went there early for batting practice, but got there and the batting practice was canceled because of the weather. So we stayed in the car till we could go inside.
We also went shopping. I got a new Tigers hat.
The game started, and in the first inning, the Braves got three runs. Tigers caught up, it was 2-3 Braves. At the third inning I went to play catch with my brother. Then I started playing football with other kids. We played and had fun. We went back and watched. Then we went home it was I think 7-2 Braves. We lost but it was spring training and we beat them in the first spring training game. Also we didn’t have our best players. It was a fun time. My favorite part was when I got my new hat.
